A lot of synchro swimmers become coaches for their home club either while their still training or after retiring form competing, but USA Synchro has educational materials for anyone who wants to coach or even start a brand new club!

Here's a link for help starting a club: http://www.usasynchro.org/Membership/FAQ.htm

In my opinion, it is essential to be familiar with Basic Position, Basic Movements and Figures for a beginner coach. After working and training swimmers for 2 years, its the time for a beginner coach to start teaching routines to become more professional.
